Who is responsible

FRAIM Solutions is responsible for the personal data described on this page. You can reach me at info@fraim-solutions.nl for any question about your data, including a request to see, correct or delete it.

What I collect, and why

The contact form

When you fill in the contact form I receive your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message. Company name and telephone number are optional; you decide whether to fill them in.

I use these details for one thing: answering you. The legal basis is your request, which is a step taken at your own initiative before any agreement.

Form submissions are handled by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and arrive in my mailbox. I keep the message as long as the conversation is live and for up to two years afterwards, so I can still find back what we discussed. After that it is deleted.

Website statistics

If you agree to statistics cookies, I use Google Analytics to see how many people visit this site, which pages they read and where they came from. I look at this in totals; it is not used to identify you personally and I do not link it to the contact form.

The legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time, at the bottom of this page, and declining does not block your visit.

One thing worth being precise about. If you decline, nothing is stored on your device: no cookie is set and nothing is read back. Google Analytics does still receive a signal that a page was opened, carrying the address of that page, your browser type and your IP address, marked as refused. It cannot recognise you on a later visit, because there is nothing to recognise you by. Google calls this consent mode; you can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Server logs

Netlify keeps technical logs of requests to this site, including IP addresses, so the site can be served and abuse can be detected. This happens whether or not you accept cookies, because a website cannot be delivered without it. These logs are not used for marketing.

Who else sees your data

Three parties are involved in running this website:

• Netlify hosts the site and processes the contact form.
• Cookiebot, part of Usercentrics, shows the consent banner and records your choice.
• Google Analytics produces the visitor statistics. Cookies are set only once you have agreed; see the note above for what happens if you decline.

These parties process data on my instructions. Some of them are based outside the European Economic Area, or store data there. In those cases the transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or on an adequacy decision for that country.

Your rights

You can ask me to show you the data I hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to hand it over in a portable form. You can also object to a particular use. Write to info@fraim-solutions.nl and I will answer within a month.

If you think I am handling your data wrongly and we do not resolve it together, you can complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
